What Is A Brochure Style Website?

Another name for these types of websites is Online Brochure. These static websites help create a credible web presence for your business, product, and/or services. It is a very easy way to provide detailed information, a way to contact you, and what your store or office hours are.

Brochure websites are often the starting ponit for many smaller or new business looking to establish an online presence. Combined with social media marketing, search engine marketing, and inbound marketing methods, even a small website can be successful.

Just like with a printed brochure, your website can be a versatile marketing piece that is used to inform customers of your products and services. Except this way you don’t have excessive printing costs or stacks of outdated brochures.

Every website needs a home page. It’s often the first page visitors land on and should contain a summary of what your offering or that they could find on the website. This page should also include your primary Call-to-Action (making it clear what you want them to do), and other secondary CTAs for that simply want to learn more.

About Us

Use this page tell visitors more about your company and what you stand for. This page can also be used to boost your Google EAT score, which is essentially your search engine credibility. Considering adding sections of content like: History of the Business, About the Owner, Author Bios, Contributing Experts, etc. 

The About page can be a very popular page on a website because people are trying to determine if they want to trust you and follow through on that Call-to-Action they saw on the homepage.

Contact Us

This page can be pretty simple, but should most certainly include a contact form and other ways you can be contacted (ie. phone number, email address, social media channels, etc).

If your primary goal of the website is for people to contact you (lead generation), then providing a more detail or incentive on this page could boost the conversion rate.

Products -or- Services

Here you’ll want to create a page for each major product or service you want to showcase on the website. Your website designer can help you decide if it makes more sense to combine information onto a single page, or if it deserve a page all of its own.

If the website is to guage interest (at least initially), you’ll want to avoid spending too much time on lots of pages because the ROI could simply not be there. 

As you learn more about what your target audience is looking for, you can add to the website to meet their needs by being a better resource.
